Some Info Please
on: March 28, 2017, 06:50:11 PM
Hey! I'm new around here, and like you guys, I'm a SAK enthusiast.
A couple of days ago, i bought a few pocket knifes for a ridiculous bargain (2€) and along a Buck 501 and other knifes, i had these two. The thing is that I don't know much about them, and I thought you guys could help me here. The victorinox i know its a shield alox cadet, but i would love to know more (value and age) and the Wenger i simply don't know anything about it. It says EP patent on the can opener. Both are in brand new condition.
If you could help me it would be amazing. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum mate.
Moved you question over here as it wasn't really suited where it was.
I'm sure someone can give you the info needed once you have sorted out attaching your pics.

Welcome to the forum!

I could not get the pictures to open on my computer, so I can't be much help.

Try going to Sakwiki for info on Victorinox and Wenger knives.

Two Euro wasn't bad for either.  I have a Buck Squire box (unfortunately, when I inherited the box with other knives, the Squire wasn't in there), and the price tag on it was $32, and this was back in the mid '80s.

Where I live, at flea markets, buying a used knife for retail or even below is impossible, namely if it is a Case or Boker knife.    A guy was selling a Boker  USA "Great American Story" edition Stockman for $35, and it had been used and carried some.   Those knives are less than $20 on Ebay in that shape, and that price is roughly what most people ask when the knife is brand new, still in the box.  When the guy gave me that ridiculous price, I knew I couldn't reason to get it down to the right price, I just put the thing down and went to the next seller.

As example:
Just checked a second hand site here...
€45 for a Camo scale Huntsman in new condition.
Costs €38 online...
