Yep it's definitely going to be one of those days.

Came in to work early to get some stuff done before a meeting. I got it done faster than I thought I would, so seeing as we have to clean our own office now due to cuts in the cleaning contract, I decided to vacuum my office floor.  I'm wearing cargo trousers (pants) today and caught the left leg pocket on a low hook getting the vacuum out the cleaning cupboard. That's the leg with very little feeling due to my spinal injury, and because I didn't feel it snag I have managed to tear the left leg from thigh to knee, and not even on the seam.  :facepalm:

Now I'll be going to meetings all day in coverall trousers, looking really professional  :bnghd:

Good luck with that!

I was once working in a warehouse when I bent down to inspect something and the seam of my pants ripped completely and utterly.  I mean there was no hope in heck of hiding anything.

Luckily I had my coveralls on over top so no one could see what happened and no one was close enough to have heard the rip.

As soon as I was free I ran to the store on my way to the next job, bought several new pairs of pants and changed in the Jeep.

I'm glad no police were around as that would have been an awkward thing to try and explain.....  :ahhh

Looks like the pot is split 3 ways. We could use our fortune for the good of the MTO people. MTs for All!! We could start a school program on the safe handling of sharps and create a lobby group to present our plight to the Government.

I just got 2nd prize in a raffle a guy sold tickets for at work, £50 worth of meal vouchers  :ahhh

I'd forgotten I bought a ticket until he brought me the vouchers

I'm taking mum and my 86 yr old neighbour out for lunch tomorrow, so that's paid for already  :2tu:

Some time ago, I used to fill out a card for Euromilhões (EuroMillions, with prizes from €15.000.000 to €100.000.000) and not enter. Then I'd check out the winning numbers and go "see, I saved €2!".

I just did it for a couple o'months, though.
 

With my luck, I'd probably had the winning numbers for a jackpot draw with no winners...

I think in Zed's case, it's more about the size of his bum versus the size of those hotpants he wears cycling. They were never going to hold out for long. All the sewing kits in the world wouldn't have made a difference.
