The Rebar does, but the Orange Wave for 45 is super deal!

I checked and the C store near where I am working has the Orange Wave for 99, same as a BO model.
You want to pick up a O Wave for 45? That is a bargain.

I saw that too, good eye. Believe me  ;) . They were just in the wrong spot.

Side note, I really like the color orange. But am not drawn hmto the orange wave. There's something weird about it. Maybe if they would have added orange to the caps or something. It's peculiar.

Thank you for confirming the waves were in the wrong spot.
Yes, black accents and tool set would be better.
Yet, I do like mine, here it is imitating a owl

It's still in the bubble pack.  I am debating if I want to keep it or return it.

I was on my way to a Dr appointment and stopped in at Cabela's to pick the Rebar up.

The Coyote is much darker than I thought it would be.  I'll have to give it some thought.

I won't be able to carry it until next month as I am currently in the Gerber MP600 challenge.

I almost got the Coyote Signal instead.  I mean, I already have a regular Rebar but don't have a Signal. But the Signal was $99.99!!!  Ouch!!!!

Ok, I decided to keep the Rebar.

First impression....Very, VERY stiff action.  Most definitely the stiffest new Leatherman I have ever opened.  I'll play with it and I am sure it will loosen up.

I think it looks good.  As for the sheath, eh, it'll work. I have a few extra Wave sheaths and it fits in them just fine.

Dont tell me the sheaths are continuing to go downhill  this is not how the evolution of a product works!!!! You gave us the cool color option. Good job. Give us a nice premium carry-able sheath to go with it! Charge us 5 more dollars if you have to! It will cost you less than that to make it!!! look at ESEE knives. I like esee pretty well, not one of those fanboys though,  but they send a VERY NICE sheath with every knife. Thats a selling point for some folks! I have never owned a Raptor, but it seems like some thought at least went into that sheath. Sorry to hijack your thread with another rant  sometimes something just hits your buttons

The sheath pictured appears to be same flat sheath provide with the sidekick.

Walmart has a $4 multi tool with form molded sheath that works great for my Wingman.

For a $80 + tool, it is a shame.

I like it. I know you mentioned it being darker than you'd thought. But I don't mind that. I think it looks better with the dark black tools anyhow.

I had a tight Leatherman for opening and removing tools too. It didn't loosen on its own. I had to slightly adjust the pivots and then it was buttery smooth!  :tu:

That Rebar looks terrific.  I like the darker tan color a lot.  Bummer about the sheath.  I hope LM gets the memo that sheath these days are as important to us as they were to them.  We want quality leather sheaths LM   :pok:

Looks like brand new!!!!  I haven't used it one bit.  LOL

Got it out of the package, looked it over,  then promptly stuck it in the drawer.

Ozark Trail tool + sheath at Walmart. Sheath is the perfect fit for the Rebar, Wingman, Sidekick, Charge, Wave and probably other models.

How can $4 tools have snap buttons but $80 tools have velcro?
