My fault, I was referring to the saw/file adapter from the Surge, not the bit driver adapter.

Any video of the Silverline/sheath fiasco? Because that sounds epically hilarious

In the end I finally managed to get it out, but that is probably 25 minutes of my life I will never get back again.

I'd love to see a 25 minute video of you trying to remove the Silverline from the sheath. Do it again, but record it this time!

The forum censors will not allow me to make a proper response to this suggestion.

It occurred to me only after I had been pulling on the cord with my teeth that the snap back if it did release would probably make me very unhappy, and when I was bent over using my back, shoulders and arms I had a heck of a time keeping the dogs at a safe distance.  If I had filmed it I am certain it would have been so comical that I doubt anyone would have believed it was legitimate.

Would a mini crunch require folding like the original?  At that size it would be similar to a byrdrench or a ranchhand. Is that practical?  How often does the regular person need a locking 3-4 inch plier?

My big concern is whether a small tool like that would have a strong enough head to withstand the pressure a locking plier goes against?

I would think you'd need a head similar to the Cross Grip for that.

(Image removed from quote.)

In the Pointless Tool Department, the folding lanyard ring (which is a complete waste of time in my mind) is on the outside on the Silverline (left) and in the second position after the file on the Crunch.

You are absolutely correct... after all there is no way you could do that with a flathead screwdriver or knife blade....

Yea, but I'm not into one of these for $100, though. Lol, time to start cruising EvilBay
