And I saw it today, just a few days after I removed the Opinel Jardin from my EDC. I carried it for 3 years and familiarized with it after inscripting with a pyrograph.
I usually give away Opinels but I also keep a few.

I used to never be without my Opinels but since the new knife laws came in i switched to SAK for edc, still use my old carbon 8 at work though as i work on private land, its on rotation with the rest of my lockable SAKs, i just leave them at work to save any hassle :tu:

Nothing artistic. More like a prison tattoo. The third side (incomplete) is already visible above.

That's Linear B script, the oldest script of Greek language. It reads KA-TE-RI-NA, my wife's name.

Here's the syllabary,

Lots of rocks and rattlers up here. I was doing a weekend on the trail a few weeks back, and almost stepped on a rattlesnake. Scared the daylights out of me! :dwts: :ahhh :ahhh

Are any of you guys having issues with the wood handles swelling badly? I've been having trouble with my No. 9 for a few months now. I've tried putting it in the sun during the day, and it seems to help for a while, but by the next day, it's all swelled up again. Any Ideas? ???

^ it would seem the wood is not sealed and is swelling from the humidity.
I wonder if you would apply mineral oil to the handle, and wipe it down if it would help.   I did that to my cutting boards that I made some 40 years ago and still do on occasion for mom's and grandma's (now mine).
