Rehabbing A SAK
on: April 05, 2017, 09:26:19 PM
I bought this old SAK at the Flea Market it had a broken fish scaler and scissor spring. Most the tools were hard to open and the springs we're lazy. hiraethus was nice enough to send me a fish scaler. Thank you hiraethus. Here is a pic of it before tore it down.

Here is years of excess W-D 40 looks like.

All cleaned up and polished ready to go back together.

Thank you, BleaKrytE and Troels had a lot of fun doing it all the tools open nice and easy and go back with a nice snap. This SAK will be a user.  :climber:

Thanks everyone, lately I have been lucking out old pre package hook SAKs have been falling in my lap. One is a Fisherman with a corkscrew. I also won a explorer on the cheep I did not notice it was pre package hook SAK. I ordered it to make a Passenger now I guess I will to get another one being I don't have the hart to mod a nice old school SAK.
