glenfiddich1983's Pioneer X challenge thread!
on: April 07, 2017, 10:02:38 PM
Today this beautiful damascus Pioneer X landed in my mailbox. This calls for a badge!

So starting tomorrow I will carry nothing else in my pockets but my wallet, keys and a Pioneer X! Let's see how good an EDC it makes!

Yes. I don't like drawer queens and dust collectors  :D

After all, a knife is made to be used!

Yes there are. I would suggest attaching it to your belt (or belt loop) with a lanyard.

So you got rid of poor old Pioneer X to make way for a newer, smarter one? That's cold G-Fiddy, even for a playa like you.

Good luck with the challenge. May the spirit of the original Pioneer X aid you during the 30 days.

Newer, yes. Smarter? Well, it still has to proof itself in the next month!

Thanks all!  :salute:

Day 1

Started the day by taking the Vagabond off my keychain and put it on the shelf with its alox friends.

Oh my, look at all the dust on the shelf, need to clean it ASAP!

Took the Pioneer X out of its box.

I can look at this forever

Having a cup of coffee and listening to some music.

My dad alway use to say "use the nice and the good things first!" awesome to see a beautiful knife like that get some use other than collecting dust as a shelf queen!

He's a wise man

If you always spare the nice and good things, you never really enjoy it. If you collect things only to look at it, you'd be off a lot cheaper just buying a photo-album or poster of it  :D

Day 3

Like any workday the day starts with slicing an apple.

You know what they say: an apple a day keeps the doctor away
I actually eat two apples a day, just to be extra safe.
