The Beretta Cybertool

An interesting gun store find, NOS. Never used, only some display case wear. Saw the Beretta logo on handles and thought "that's an odd one, I'd better grab it".  :think:

Since there aren't all that many photos of this Cybertool variant around, I thought I'd post a few. Here we go!

Comes packaged like Beretta firarms, in a blue plastic case. Markings and identifier codes done in Beretta style as well:





Inside, we find what is basically a Cybertool 34, branded Victorinox for Beretta, a manual and a belt pouch:







The operating manual is labeled "Beretta Gun Tool", instead of "Pistol Tool", and the special Beretta screw bits are identified in red:







This Cybertool is most definitely made by Victorinox but the guarantee is issued by Beretta. Something goes wrong, I guess the lads in Val Trompia will fix it, huh? :D



And now to the oddball bit: the manual actually appears to be one for a Cybertool 41, as it lists tools (numbers 35 to 41) that most assuredly are not found in this knife:



Oh, and there's also a Fiocchi stamp on the underside of the pouch snap. A nice reminder that once servicing the firearm is done, it's time to buy some Italian-made ammunition and head back to the range!

Yup, would make sense. From what I've seen, background photo is the same on the user's guide labeled Pistol Tool - a pistol and a shotgun. Don't own any Beretta guns myself but I trust they chose the right tools for the bit driver.  :tu:
