If I'm dead honest, I'm the same. Friday nights, I go to a freind's house and drink beers that need to be popped open. It's not like they don't HAVE bottle openers in their kitchen, but it's more... 'fun' I guess... to use a SAK.And most of the cutting I do is cutting open mail... which is usually packages with other multitools.

For me it's beer and mostly cutting up all of the amazon boxes that come with my wife's orders. I have no idea what she is ordering as we sort of have an unofficial 'don't ask, don't tell' policy regarding impulsive online purchases, but they often arrive in pairs and sometimes twice a day I'm in for Waiter Wednesday (Image removed from quote.)
It's been a while

I flew in to a cool town for work and the rush meant I had no checked baggage. I needed a pocket tool to cover the basics with the least outlay (likely to lose it again) so I grabbed a Waiter at the local outdoor shop. It’s opened more boxes in the last two days than I have probably opened in the last 6 months; I don’t feel bare. Beers after hours too! (Image removed from quote.)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
...and if I do Waiter Weekend, does that cancel out a Spartan Saturday, maybe a combination! !

I've been traveling a lot for work this last month, with nothing but carry-on luggage and a Style PS. So it is such a pleasure to be home now with a Waiter in my pocket (Image removed from quote.)
...and its just enough for EDC...
for the same size, you get a Corkscrew, screwdriver, bottle opener and pry tool (Image removed from quote.)it's not the king of slim, finger sized knives for nothin'!
And if you don't mind the added weight, you get a mini-screwdriver, pin, toothpick and tweezers (Image removed from quote.)
Oh yes, the Waiter! A good two weeks ago I bougth two 84 mm Vic's off ebay dirt cheap, just to get a feel for that size, one Waiter and one Sportsman. I like them both, but the Waiter was a true relevation! So ligthweight and small yet so capable. I fell in love with it instantly and it made me to reconsider what you need and don't need on a SAK. Truly a gem. I only miss the scissors a bit. Victorinox really should make a 84 mm Compact or even "Golfer", the hook is not that important for me.
I want a Waiter with a pen. Seriously, how can a Waiter write down an order without a pen Back from another week of carry-on only traveling and so happy to have a Waiter in my pocket again
on a knight's quest to find s 91mm one!Not much hope but pressing onward...
