Decided to just keep a Waiter in the silverware drawer since I'm always running to my room to grab a SAK while cooking/opening wine at home. It's already getting a lot more use than it used to  Galileo approves. :tu:
Usualy I just grab the one that's in my pockets :pok:

Thank you for your comment.
Me too, unless of course, I left it sitting in the other room.  Sometimes I sport pocketless trousers around the house.  Also, believe it or not, I don't awlways have a corkscrew in the pocket... especially on alox days...

Why don't you just admit you don't wear trousers around the house?

I often thought about placing my SAKs here and there but then I think of how nice they're sitting next to each other in my display and just leave it at that :/

91mm, you say?...

If it were an 84mm, it would make it a Gourmet. Never saw/heard of a 91mm like that...

I seem to remember a discussion from a few years ago where Jazzbass mentioned a 91mm Gourmet.  This one seems to fit that discussion/description, but I would defer to Jaydar.  :salute:

The two old waiter / gourmets 84mm and 91mm actually in my collection are both of which seem to have sneaked in without a proper clean :(

I do love a set of matching logos :)

Grooved corkscrews are so much more elegant looking. I wish they hadn't changed them :(

Thing is, they're still cheaper than new ones and easily found in good condition if you look through online-bidding sites.

They look cool, but the groove was hard to clean if actually floating in your pocket then used for wine.

I just ran into this post, wanted to say that the waiter is one of my favorite knives.  I do feel like it needs an awl to be complete, but overall this is a great size knife.

I've need doing the same. For that occasional bottle of wine.

It's funny... The one thing i really "hated" on my first Spartan back in the 80's was that deep grooved corkscrew...  :-\ While it looked good i hated the rasp edges from the groove on my hand and the way it always picked up tons of pocket lint.
I prefer the new ones by a mile...

If the corkscrew touches your wine, you're doing it wrong.
