Will Victorinox let me exchange my broken Swisstool for a Spirit?

So I have a broken Swisstool that I need to send back for replacement but I already have another regular Swisstool and I was wondering if anyone knows if Victorinox would let me exchange it for a Swisstool Spirit instead?

Also do they still send out (New) replacement tools or do they now send out (Refurbished) ones?

AFAIK the regular Swisstool is still in production so they will probably repair yours.

My uncle has send a Swisstool back to Vic a few months ago and got it back a few weeks later, completely fixed up.

So honestly, I doubt they will replace your used production model for another new production model.

I am pretty sure they will either repair yours or replace it with either the same model (should still be in production

) or if not replace it with another Swistool

Don't think they would swap it out like that though

What is broken about it anyways and we need pics

It's in storage right now so I can't get pics, but the locks have gotten really loose and the one side of the plied head broke off. It's a 98 style with the thinner pliers.

Does anyone have the phone number and address for their warranty? I've looked but I can't find it anymore.
