Only ever worn one as part of a wedding suit, other than that I haven't.

I have one that I wear sometimes! I'd like another with deep pockets though.

I have a few, one brown leather one that I basically bought because the price was so cheap and the leather so nice. It's hard to wear it and not look 50+. I do have two, white and black for formal use with tailcoat. I would want one for everyday use except the Harris tweed is warm enough most days... Wow, clothes are seldom less than a 5£ around here since second hand is really trendy. Part of it is that this is a university town but elsewhere too the prices are rather high. Shirts often go for 10-15. Makes me extra happy for paying 7£for my Harris tweed.

Never heard the phrase "waistcoat", they call them vests here. Waistcoat sounds funny Only worn one once, for my wedding. It was fun. But I don't attend too many affairs that would require that type of snazziness.

I think I had one when I was little ,but that's about it. What's interesting is that where I live--so many people are getting rid of old clothes that even the Salvation Army won't take them anymore.
