Any Chrysler fans? got me a Chrysler SAK and sheath
on: April 11, 2017, 05:39:41 PM
found a SAK on ebay that only had 2 pictures, both showed the SAK in the closed state, one of the front, the other the rear.
in the photo I could see the sheath and the advertising text.

it took a close look to notice the pliers that this model had, and that made me want it.

I put in a max bid of $17, but won it with the only bid of $9.99

this SAK is clearly still like new (factory oil on reamer and some blades), and the sheath does not even show signs of being opened more than a couple of times.

I have owned two Chrysler Neons in the past (in the US branded as Dodge Neon):

They were nice cars. Simple but very reliable!
I owned the 1995 one for about a year I think, and the 2001 one I had for 6 years. Sold it in 2014.

Being a MOPAR guy makes it an extra cool SAK to me. I remember my first car a 1973 Duster which lead me to a world of Chargers, Satellites, Darts ect. Heck I was lucky enough to get my hands on a 74 360 Duster. Not an easy car to find. Even harder after my X  recked it.
Jeep the SAK of the auto world or is it SAK the Jeep of the Knife world?

thanks everyone,  and yes, I feel that was a great deal!

I was watching as the auction closed, thinking the snipers were about to attack,  but none never did

I think I have a Wenger in my watch list that is an advertising piece (non Chrysler, by the way) that's got advertising both on the scales and sheath flap.

That's a really nice piece!

I own a Jeep, but it's so old, it's made by Kaiser, nearly 20 years before the Chrysler purchase.  My grandparents owned a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from 2001-2008, a 1984 Dodge Power Ram D-300 from the early '90s until about three years ago (with a locally made steel Mainline truck bed, a company that's been defunct for nearly a decade, which replaced a rotted out wood one it had been fitted with by the mine supply company that bought it new) and we still own a '98 Dodge Ram 1500, with only a little less than 40,000 miles on it, which will be mine after I get my license.
