I use a app on my iPad called Snapseed
That gives me the option to make pics monochrome  :tu:

Some of them are but I use a small
digital camera for most of my pics
I download my pics on my iPad
And then I use the app for the monochrome pics  :tu:

Aha, I thought your pics looked way too detailed for an iPad. These small compact digital cameras are simply amazing. After years of shooting with DSLRs, I now shoot the bulk of my photos with a Sony RX100 mk3. If I’m careful with exposure and use a small tripod, I can produce quality 16”x20” prints. Technology has come a long way.

But it is amazing how good the quality of
these new smartphones is for taking pictures
My daughter has one and the quality is excellent
It won’t be long and you won’t

Lumix makes superb cameras. I still use a Lumix LX-7, only 10mp but stunning images. You're right, though, cell phone cameras are quickly approaching the quality of good cameras. I was looking at the Google Pixel but it didn't have a card slot. That is a great camera, both still and video.
