New Nitcore Tube Colours for 2017

I've just noticed that Nitecore have come out with some much improved colours this year and have to say I fancy getting one.  However I actually really rather like them all and am struggling to pick which one I like most.

I wonder of the old colors remain - I like the clear flavor the best, though the blue is also yummy.

What really kicked these up a notch was when they added the lockout feature.  The first variant would turn itself on in my pocket.

Edit:  after looking at the website, it appears that they may be retaining the old colors as well.

I didn't know they did that and It's definitely a good idea.  I've not had it happen to me a lot, but I've definitely found it lighting up my pocket lint before. :-\

A couple of weeks ago my wife came home and said that her Tube turned on when she was removing it from her bag to unlock the door and that she couldn't turn it off. The weird thing was that it was on high and sure enough the clicky switch would click but the light would not turn off, it was just locked on high. I tried plugging in a charging cord but it wouldn't shut off :think:  I put it in a drawer and waited till the battery drained and it shut off. I charged it again and it has been working fine ever since. After the untimely death of my Tube and this experience I'm not convinced these flashlights are really dependable :-\

I see these as a big upgrade from a Photon style button light and but I don't want to be spending lots of money.  For me I don't quite see the attraction of spending too much on a light where I can't replace the Li- Ion cell.  So the TIP is out and the Tube is in.  Didn't Etherealicer do a thread on the TIP a while ago? :think:

I saw them today, when I bought a diffuser for the MH27. The old colors I think. They still look big compared with Fauxtron for a car keyring that holds a Squirt, a Ladybug and a Minichamp.
A Thumb has this red light which is essential to me.
SGN3 looks better though.

Those tube's rock, I was kinda shocked of how much light that little thing put out! I actually wrote in to the manufacturer saying how nice they are and said if they had a clip on the back side would make them great especially for putting it on a hats brim, sure enough they came out with the thumb, in which I've had my eye on, not only because of the clip, but the more lumens it puts out..  but I must say the tube is a great little light especially since there rechargeable!

they gave me a refund to my paypal, but I really wanted the light, was like $6 sale, and checking the mailbox for 2 months and not getting it was frustrating.

I can imagine a giant pallet full of chinese stuff in the customs warehouses and the agents just keeping 75% of the items for themselves, not sure how they go missing so frequently from this website, seems pretty common from what I see on slickdeals, I did receive 6 items I paid for faster shipping and insurance, but this was first item I tried the free shipping cause of $6 price, otherwise I should have just paid the $10 and got from amazon

I will let you know after a few days of carry, but so far it really lightens up the keychain significantly albeit while sacrificing lumens, but I'm really liking it so far.
