Hello from Connecticut
on: April 20, 2017, 01:41:18 PM
I found this forum while looking up discontinued Leatherman tools, and the wealth of information drew me right in. I have been carrying LMs for almost twenty years :
Kick
Pulse
Blast
Micra
Sidekick
ST300
Crunch
I lost the Kick and the Pulse being young and awesome
The Blast i abused with immunity not realising how they changed their line-up from time to time, and I sent it in for repair along with my two Micras (we'll see how that shakes out). The ST300 is my edc (for now), the Crunch is tresured and unused for the most part, and the Sidekick will probably be gifted to my brother in a go-bag I am making up for him.
I never really got turned on by Gerber tools or SOGs, but Victorinox has a special place in my heart as that was the first knives I owned, given to me by my grandfather. I lost or broke the crap out of those being young and awesome for as long as I was. And I hope to soon acquire a Swisstool or two after reading some of the reviews here and seeing as I live pretty close to the Victorinox Headquarters in CT and their store has some pretty good deals.
Well, that's more than enough for now. Sorry for the long wind.

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

We've been talking in another thread so I guess it's about time I moseyed on in here and welcomed you here!

If you think the forum is a wealth of knowledge, have you seen the Multitool Encyclopedia?

Thanks for the welcome Mr. G! Yeah that encyclopedia has already eaten more than a few minutes of my time. You and your cohorts have built quite the nice resource and community here.

It's got more to do with all of the cool people that hang out here than anything I've done.   :D
