I live in hope Neil
Its a slow process so far but we all learnt eventually. So long as he doesn't end up like my bother who didn't figure it until he was eight! That was so embarrassing Neil

"This is the Campagnolo Super Record 11 rear derailleur, shifting your rear wheel through 11 glorious "shark's fin" tooth profile gears. It goes to 11. That's one more."This screams Spinal Tap.
I wish he'd hurry up. I've told him when he learns that daddy's going to buy a bike so we can go on rides. I haven't had a bike in years. I had a couple when I lived in Peterborough but they just kept getting pinched... from the back garden! I've tried bribery; "I'll fit some cool lights to it so we can go on night rides!" peer pressure "Dylan could ride his without stabilisers when he was still in nursery" I may have to resort to emotional blackmail "daddy is dissapointed Jack" or would that make me evil Neil

My oldest lost his training wheels at 5. The youngest was 4 and a half.Dtrain
I remember when I moved away from training wheels.I think pa's words were "Well son, I guess you've got until the bottom of the hill to figure it out" Anyway, I tell girls I got my face during a knife fight when I was 18.
Ha! I have you all beat! I learned to ride without stabilisers when i was 10 In Spain of all places
I think he's been making up for lost time though Neil
