They're McIntosh, I don't know how widespread they are but common in the orchards here ( Nova Scotia) the ones in the stores right now are especially good, nice crunch to them and a sweet tartness  :tu:

They're common where I live along with other types and they're great for eating. Some other types are more amenable to pies and similar uses. Price per pound of the different types varies with availability.

Not sure of the variety but theyre a bit tart and sweet.  Not bad but I'm imagine a tummy ache if too many were consumed.

They grow quick, i should probably make it once a week till it slows down growth  :tu:
Cluster thinned down to two, in hindsight this is probably the wrong tree to photograph as it doesn't produce very nice fruit, i may jump trees and follow one of the nicer ones, i will of course keep you updated with this one..no guarantees i will eat the apple though  :angel:
