Gerber Warrenty is amazing!

I was on themultitoolstore.com web site looking around. I went to the Gerber accessories page to see what was available and at what cost. There was a note if your sheath was shot that it would be covered under warrenty. I thought that was silly. It is destined to get worn out. But to be sure, I called as they had a phone number listed. Sure enough, they will replace your sheath. So I have a new sheath coming for my MP600 Maintenance Kit.

They were awesome with me as well. I had been GIVEN an older MP600 Pro Scout. The blade was destroyed. They told me to send it in and they sent me a brand new Pro Scout.

While I would have preferred them to just replace my blade, I do appreciate the gesture!

Well I received my sheath; sort of. They sent me an MP600 sheath.   :facepalm:
Not the MP600 Maintenance sheath that I requested. So I gave them a call today, and they stepped up again.   :like:
I am to keep the wrong sheath and they are expediting the replacement with their appologies.   :tu:

I just had my first experience with Gerber customer service with my Gator sheath.  From sending the email asking for a replacement to arriving in the mail took 5 days!  Phenomenal!!

Good on them. I'm not a huge fan of their sheaths  (I abhor velcro in most uses) but it's good to know they stand behind their products.
