Zebralight H53 soon to market.

Not that I "need" a new light mind you but since getting my ZL I've been hankerin' for a headlamp from them.  I almost pulled the trigger but after seeing this I wait and see the reactions from the real light geeks.

Looks like they have discontinued the H52w (that I have) to release this.
Interesting.
I wish they would improve their uncomfortable headband attachment.

I really enjoy using the Zebralight AA  " H " series. Tiny, waterproof, tough, and versatile.
Add a few magnets and you have added a lot of hands free opportunity. The H53 seems to have lost its ability to use 3.7 volt cells, if I'm reading the spec page correctly. Thanks for letting us know about the new version.

Thats what it looks like.

The CRI is also pretty significant as well as the CCT.  I wanted to pull the trigger on a H52 but I'll wait to hear the reactions to this newer version.  I specifically got the SC52L2 because it supported 14500s.  Nice to have that option however like the SC5 these lights get pretty wonderful Hi on NiMH so it maybe a non "issue".

Hey Zebra,  let work on a AAA  :pok:

Well it looks to have made it to the ZL website.

I'm not sure I'm going to wait for others to review it.  Seems to tic all the boxes for what I wanted in a light of this type.  I was almost swayed by the Tiara Pro by Armytek but I'm feeling like ZL just ever so slightly nudges it out.

I'm going to go have a look again now.
