these are oddball ones i've seen on amazon, the bread knife has an alox handle. anybody have experience with these? there is also a twine knife, budding knife, & daypackers which are shorter. these all seem to have the rivets on the outside of the scales.

heres the backermesser, it looks pretty cool:

  • Born to multitask.
I've got a Baker's knife, and two 100mm Gardeners.
They are nice. The Baker's one is excellent, so thin, with a great curved serrated blade.
The Gardeners feel great in the hand, and the snap is going strong. Great sheepsfoot blades.

  • There's a SAK for that!
...just not sure if I need it...

Not sure if you knead it?

But that's just as funny as questioning yourself if you need another SAK. You just do.

On a more serious note, I'm curious about these knives too.
Like this Budding knife, it has a nice clip point and a bark opener.

I blunted the tip and now it lives as a rescue knife in my tiny-first aid kit.
It is a great knife with a great blade and really small. Great if you want to carry a secondary serrated blade that needs little to no space.
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

These 100mm gardener's knives are cool  8). Bear in mind though they are chisel ground.

These have red nylon scales and aluminium liners. There are deluxe versions with black nylon scales and brass liners as well.

I really want one of these. Now that I have a garden, I need a gardening SAK!
I can't find any reviews on this model though.
