That one actually looks like it comes closer to satisfying the thread topic too.

QuoteIn Switzerland I don't have to worry about people friendly that much. Of course I try not to scare people or to incite a witch hunt, but people in general are pretty relaxed about knives. I do get a lot of positive reaction for my baby blue Benchmade Mini Griptillian, because it is so pretty and 99% of all non-SAK-knives are black.Way to make a guy in a country where people used to carry knives all over just a couple of decades ago jealous...

Often when I take out my latest purchase on the train... others show me what they carry, like that grams that was real proud of her Soldier 2008 (she couldn't open the old soldier (probably a 1908) anymore, so she got a new one.
That Klötzli is quite nice, I admit There's a French guy making some quite similar knives but I don't have the bookmark anymore.

Although running around a train with a knife in hand and yelling "Can I see yours?" somehow doesn't sound like the best idea

If you get the Izula, I recommend stripping the coating and forcing a patina. Makes it a better slicer IMO.
But it also made me realize, If I use that knife for slicing (e.g. an apple) then the juice will soak into any paracord handle, unless I treat it with something (most likely poisonous).

Have you seen the fixed blade version of the Kershaw Skyline?
Quote from: sak60 on May 12, 2017, 02:00:00 PMHave you seen the fixed blade version of the Kershaw Skyline?I think that one is out of production (might still be available though). The current fixed blades from Kershaw don't really tick my boxes and Diskin Hunter must have one of the worst looking sheaths:(Image removed from quote.)

Well, out of my 6 or 7 EDC fixed blades that I have/had I think the Mora is the smallest, but it is definitely nice, easy and comfortable to carry.Steel lends itself to be used and easily resharpened, very rust resistant,(Image removed from quote.)sheath is excellent in retention and can be carried IWB or outside the belt, also has a drainage hole and is impervious to the elements. Handle is very ergonomic, weight is barely noticeable, IMO.I recommend it!(Image removed from quote.)
