Spyderco remote release ,thoughts ?
on: May 15, 2017, 07:41:38 PM
I picked this original version up Sunday,I saw it in a display case with other pockets knives but this one stood out amongst the cheap folders, well I had to buy it purely on looks and you pretty much never see a spyderco at a car boot in the uk.So cleaned it up today and sharpened it,it's a interesting concept, think I prefer a clip but can see the carabiner being handy for climbing ,kayaking, emergency services etc, what are the thoughts on this spyderco, future collectable?  :tu:

I've thought about getting myself one, but the one thing holding me back is that how durable the clip itself is.   I like knives like this, as I often carry knives with carabiners or bails on my belt loop; since during the summer months, I'm often beneath equipment and my knife often slips out of a pocket.

I'd say use this knife.  Unless it's rare or really gently used, I almost always heavily use any knife I bought used.
