84mm Alox mod: nail file or small blade?

So I have a set of 84mm scissors and spring that I've been meaning to put use in an Alox mod.

I can't decide between small blade or nail file for that slot...I love the small blade and use it really often on SAKs but the nail file offers a different tool and the tip is good for tiny Phillips.

Help!

I'd go with the combo tool if irbid was me and have an 84mm compact/golfer.  But if that's not an option than the nail file.

Blade! I use the small blade more often than the big one. And you could pair the Alox with a Leatherman style ps. So you get the nail file/ Phillips/ eye glass screwdriver, and pliers and tweezers! Great urban combo!

For me its the blade, no question  :salute:

Nail files IMO are only suitable on 58mm or 74mm sak's. The only reason why I haven't bought a Cadet yet is because it has a bloody nail file instead of the small blade, but nevertheless I always prefer cellidor models generally anyway so...

But mind you I carry an alox classic permanently on my key chain, so nail file and small scissors are covered. If you only carry the cadet and use a nail file on a regular basis, then the file is probably best for you  :cheers:

Blade.... One of the reasons I carry my Executive is because of the two blades.

The nail file is so impressive, because it's slightly more useless than the combo tool.  :D
