Box (1994) isn't matching the tool (1997). But that's not a problem, I had an orphan 1994 SS OG ST that was looking for its mother-box ! :)
...and I also had a 1997 box for OG ST w/ nylon sheath, perfect match for these BG OG ST  :dd:

Hello Folks,

I have a few BO LM in my collection (a Kick, a New Wave, a OG Surge and a Mini Tool). All of these have a non-reflective, matt finish (and that's okay).

But recently I acquired a BO OG Super Tool... ...and it has a shiny, reflective finish (all parts, not just the exterior), sort of best of both black oxyde and stainless. Is that "normal" ? Or would the previous owner have spent some time to obtain this finish ?... It doesn't have the original warning sticker anymore, but it doesn't show ANY trace of use either. I have to admit I wanted to sell it, but the more the time passes, the more I want to keep it.

(picture belongs to the seller, I'll to find time to take nice pictures)

BTW, can I join the club ?... :D

I have a PST, also from 1997 that has a shiny BO finish. Only the handles though , not the tools or pliers. It's certainly not normal but I think it probably left Leatherman looking like that. I suspect they had a batch of BO that came out different for some reason.

Very cool ST I wouldn't sell it if I were you   :tu:
