After making my Fisher Pen and 84mm SAK case I wanted something else.  I had an old leather handbag that I picked up for $1 which has pretty nice leather so I got to work.  I saw some pictures of what I wanted online so I pretty much filled suit with design.  I wanted my slip case to carry my 84mm Tinker and either a AAA Light or my Squirt P4.

Tools used were,
Paracord inner strand for thread.
Small nail as awl.
Heavy gauge needle.
Utility knife.
Leather from old handbag.
Hammer.

The stitching is rough as heck but since this wasn't going to be entered into a makers contest  for now it'll do.

I have more leather from the bag and a few more ideas.  3X5 memo pad holder, ID badge holder for friend, and who knows.

I didn't bother cleaning the leather as it had a great worn look already.  It's also conforming to my front right pocket wonderfully.  If I want I can slip my other bullet pen into the SAK side of the case.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks all.  Its really comfortable to carry.  Its also conforming nicely to the shape of where it sits in my pocket.  I may not in fact make any adjustments  :D.  The fit and feel is wonderful even if it looks very homemade.  The paracord thread should last a while and the leather isnt going wear out.

I did mock up my friends work ID badge holder.  I need to go back and stitch with paracord as the fit was spot on.  She loved it and carried it today even tho I used thread to mock it up.

I also made a flashlight sheath for my Zebralight.

 :D

I got leather happy yesterday.

Thanks.  The sheaths continue to work out great.  I carry the Space pen sheath and the P4/Tinker sheath every day.

I have as of late quit carrying my altoids tin (to bulky in the summer for pocket carry sometimes) so it now resides in the backpack I carry back and forth to work ::) I find myself having to go and track my backpack down for items now though  Wondering if they make a well made snap button type, chain purse sheath (nylon or leather) that would be similar in size but not bulk to an altoids tin for pocket carry

I do like that space pen / knife pocket sheath.  I lost my Black Space pen last week.  Apparently it slipped out my pocket when I pulled out the change keeper and I did not hear it hit floor at the fast food joint last week.

It seems they are easy to lose due to shape, size,  and slick finish. I lost mine as well and I remember reading a few others that have lost theirs due to slipping out of a pocket unnoticed.

I keep mine in a sheath. Failing that, by itself in a big narrow watch pocket that fits a 91mm SAK.
This kind of watch pocket is not inside the front right pocket, it's between the front right pocket and the zip.

I buy my trousers by the watch pockets. Bad watch pocket, no deal.   :D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

You still have the clip on your pen?
I am thinking that may be an option for my next one.
I however, am still mourning  its loss.  That is two in the last year, both vintage, both 20 years of service at home and business.

I find if I leave the clip on my space pen it stays in my pocket more securely for some reason.
