Roskopf Wenger SAK
on: May 22, 2017, 01:22:05 PM
Hi all, I came across this Wenger SAK and was wondering if Ive dated this right. I place it in the 40s-50s and was wondering if any experts could confirm it for me.
Ive also never seen nor can i find any pics online of a Wenger SAK with a different emblem such as this on the scales and would greatly appreciate any info on it, however small.
Thanks in advance
Soss.

Roskopf appears to be a watchmaking company so this knife is probably made as some kind of advertising knife.
I don't know exactly where to date this knife, but I do know that "Wengerinox" tang stamps were used in the 50's.

Cheers, yes its an old watch makers name, found a web page but dont think theyve made them under Roskpf
since the 1920s, I've never seen a Wenger with an advertising marking instead of some form of Swiss marking though, so
am thinking its pretty rare. I think your right its 50s rather than 40s.
