What I'm taking camping this time .

I've decided as I'm going 7 days camping I'll take a few more toys than I normaly do,also include fishing gear  :tu: I can't wait to get back out camping with my daughter's and my dog  :tu:

Thanks guys ,I'm so lucky as my girls love the out doors as much as me ,I guess it's our gift to them as we all here have a love for the wilds  :salute: talking of gifts the huntsman from Luke  (Magentus) is all wrapped up ready to give it to Gorgia on Monday, she will treasure it ,thanks again Luke  :salute: pics too follow  :tu:

Yes mate a Belgium army pack  :salute: cheap as chips £10 posted off eBay and as tough as nails, plus waterproof  :tu: I've carried the p3 for years for work and other than a hard too ouch in switch it's a good flashlight  :tu: headtorches are in with my other camping gear  :tu:

I've seen recommendations for Dutch army packs, but this Belgian has peaked my interest. What is the volume of it, if you have a rough estimate?

Think it's about 30l possibly a tad more,loads of attachments so you can add extra packs and sleeping bag,straps top and bottom,I've added the shoulder strap to the fitting that are already there,I carry it both ways  :salute:

Folding saw not in the picture but I'm my pack .

Well by coincidence I stumbled upon an older version of the pack today at a flea market.
It was made from some kind of canvas which gave it a nice retro touch, but also gathered a bunch of dirt in the seems.
So it needed alot of cleaning AND I've got enough bags for EDC, while only using 1.

As for the P3: I used mine during work in the past, and found it was usefull in hand, but also handsfree by clamping it between the teeth. :D

Yeah there canvas with a rubberized covering,keeps it pretty water right ,it's worked out well for me plus good for the money  :tu:

There's a guy on a Belgian 2nd hand site who has a lot of Belgian Army stuff, he also has the Belgian backpack for 15 Euro, don't know if he's willing to ship abroad ... I'll send you a PM with a link to his page.
