You'd figure that somebody who wrote paragraphs whining about certain repetitive statements would be able to see when he's doing the same thing.

You might need to explain that to me. Feel free to PM me if necessary

What's the trouble? Al (50ft-trad) is saying that Leathermans quality is not what it used to be, and he's not wrong.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

We're all entitled to our own opinions here aluminated  - no need to get personal.

Members who have been around these last few months know where this comes from, but there is really no need in bringing that up in other random threads where the other posts his/her opinion.

No need to agree with each other, but poking underneath the table isn't going to help either ;)

On topic though, I have mixed feelings with LM lately.
They bring out something competely new, like the Signal, while they also build half a skeletool and sell it as a "lightweight knife".

Compared to Vic: Vic didn't release anything shocking lately (maybe the Pioneer X last year?) But they also don't release stuff directly from the client feedback list. Which is the feeling I get with LM.
"Dear LM, why don't you sell the Skeletool as knife only?"
LM: Great idea, let's roll!

Their good things, like the Signal, are sold here at a price that will get me a Spirit X Plus...
No need to think that through twice...

They just started selling these in the Autozone near us. It is the Schrade version, but they want $39.99 for it. Even though I love the tool, that is way too much!
