Willing to spend thousands of dollars investing into a website to promote the hobby so it drives up prices on things that three years ago people couldn't give away.... Def
What a good question. My first reaction was £20, but thinking about it further, that doesn't stand up to examination. My most used MT would be my Charge TTi, and I paid £50 as near as dammit. So that's my answer.I have paid a bit more than that on occasion for "collectibles", but I think you were asking about users. It's worth pointing out that I would NOT pay UK manufacturers' prices for a multi tool. Nooo way.

Nooo way.See, a year ago and I would have siad that a £50 multitool needed to be kept in a drawer and polished every day. Now though, I wouldn't bat an eyelid to use a £50 tool on anything.

How much would you be willing to spend on a multitool, a SAK and a knife (folding or fixed) and still feel comfortable using it? And how have your opinions changed on this as you have increased or changed your collection?
$100 these days doesn't get many single bladed folders or fixed blades....Def
