Especially if it is breaded/fried catfish! I put chopped jalapenos and bacon in my hush puppies, but plain ones are good too. My wife taught me Southern cooking - her family are hill-folk from western Virginia (Appalachia).

If anyone can make cornbread then all you have to do is add finely diced up onions and then drop spoonful sized or bigger cornbread balls of it into a deep fryer :cheers: :like:
