Diesel Mod #1

I have 2 mods I am going to do with SOG parts. A lot of grinding and filing but they will fit.
Mod 1 is a real phillips screwdriver.

Do you think the Gerber 2d phillips is stronger than the 3d from SOG? I know the phillips on the MP series is stronger.
The second mod is to install the SOG 1/4 driver bit adapter. That way I can have any 1/4 bit that I need.

I much prefer the 2D Gerber Phillips, and chose to leave that in my TurboDiesel mod. I then got the Diesel bit adaptor for 1/4" bits.

I haven't used the diesel phillips very much but the sog phillips has failed me many times.
So far sog tools have been lemons for me, the only one I like is the scaler.
Not so much a dig on sog, more my lack of a suitable job that it can excel at.
For example I didn't really like the mini bit on leathermans until I found they're good at cleaning bar grooves on chainsaws.
I use #2 robertson screws and would like to try the sog square driver but haven't yet found one I can afford.

I looked all over for the Diesel bit adapter. I could not find any, except with a Gerber Hinderer Rescue Knife, for $60 plus shipping. To much for a 10 piece kit. Knife is nice, but I don't need it.
