Like most here I have a few friends and family who know.  I'll tell people if I think they might be interested but don't feel the need to shout about it from the roof tops.

My wife is fine with it, just so long as I don't spend silly money on it.  In fact she seems quite proud of the fact I have done a few Mods, she is more likely to tell people than I am.  She is just a fab person though.  :)

I have a small collection. 1 Paratool, 1 Powerlock, 1 Toolclip on the way, 1 Swisstool and 1 Rescuetool. The misses don’t quite approve of me spending moony on MT but she tolerate it, my co-workers knows that I always carry a tool on me and they don’t mind. The only problem is that I don’t got the moony too buy all the tools I want.
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.

What's up with that?

There should be a government fund or something.

Nope not quite one of a kind, I have a similar minded wife. In fact she now owns three juice models herself. She is also totally cool with me buying tools, knives, even my ever growing flashlight collection, which I think she actually likes better then all the multi's. I recently picked her up a Surefire E2DL and she absolutely loves it.

It actually amazes me that more women don't adopt the same attitude. My wife just looks at it like if I don't give him a hard time about what he buys, then I wont give her a bad time about what she buys.

Actually, I had this discussion with some of my acquaintances of the female persuasion. We decided that in a marriage, I would get a workshop full of tools, if she could get a closet full of shoes and purses.

Trust me...your workshop would be a lot less costly to equip.
