I have three of them and they are decent watches. My only complaint is if(or when)they need servicing at the distributor.See a post I made awhile back about that.

I found an Invicta Pro Diver Model 1769 on the side of the road two weeks ago. $10 to have the band fixed and it fits like a glove.

I find them very nice, definetly got some weight to them, the bands are solid and not folded, the movement is very nice, most are self winding so if you wear everyday great, but if you take off for more then two days your calling it close and you'll need to get it going and re-set it. The glass face is great, I wore them while working at a Lowe's and they've never scratched.. any other questions?

With an Invicta Pro Diver, I think you can make due without the lead belt for diving.

Nice watch but shockingly heavy...at least my model is.

I'll second that;especially the Masters of the Ocean model(see pics). That particular model has a 51mm case. The other two aren't far behind. The left hand model chronograph is my favorite.

I'd pick up a Seiko over an Invicta any day.

Why?
Seiko builds it's own watches and movements.
Invicta builds/buys a case and dial and stuff it with a swiss/japanese/chinese movement. You never know what you'll get.
With Seiko you KNOW you'll end up with a Seiko movement.

So an Invicta at retail price? Only if It's got a top of the line movement. Not when it's got a purchased Miyota movement.
