I've read this thread throughout, and watched the vid, and.... I'll pass  :salute:

I've already got nipples, nostrils, genitals, a belly button, and a beard to fiddle with, and I think the spinners are probably only marginally more socially acceptable. I'm also unlikely to leave my nipples on a train, lose my genitals down the back of the sofa, or have to go scrambling under seats in the doctors waiting room to retrieve my belly button.

It's the other way around for my daughter.  The spinner is fine and all that, but the fidget cube is still king as far as she's concerned.

It's the other way around for my daughter.  The spinner is fine and all that, but the fidget cube is still king as far as she's concerned.
He likes his cube, but I'm thinking this is the "new thing" so he's "gotta have it"! So this will either fade out or go nuts..

I bought one recently. I tried lubing it with nano oil but it went from spinning for just under 3 mins to less than 30 seconds  :facepalm:

I gave the bearing a bath in brake cleaner and blown dry with compressed air. It now spins for just over 5 mins.  I went with an anodised aliminium spinner

They've become a hype overhere as well.

Children have been caught stealing them from toy stores.

I still don't have a spinner but really want/need one. A guy at work has been 3D printing them so I may get one from him.
