What's the earliest known sideclip?

Cause I just picked one up with date codes 0997, 1097, 1197, and 1297.

Gotta figure that it is one of the earliest to leave the factory.

My Sideclip has date codes 0997/1197/0897/1097.

Wow--I think the 0897 is the earliest singular date code I've heard, and the 1197 is the oldest total.

I will venture a guess that mine is a 98 instead of a 97 ::) Gareth did you get your Sideclip the same way I did in the big DaveK group buy :think: If so mine are probably very similar dates to yours  :D

No, I got mine later via 50ft, who bought a couple from someone else, who had it second hand...

Are those 2008 dates right ?  I thought Sideclip production stopped in 2004 (same as PSTs)   ???
