I'm assuming this is an EARLY 80's 84mm golfer.  Just never seen the scissors with solid plate/no screw/no rivet.  Anyhow, it's otw.  :D

After a quick search on all the usual suspect Vic/collector sites, I'm still not seeing it.  Due to the overwhelming response ( I know I'm being impatient), I think it's time to roll up the sleeves and dig deep in to MTO.  :SAKnight:

I suspect it's just a pic where you can't see the end of the screw.  The screw head is on the nail nick side.  Here's a similar knife:

You can only just make out the end of the screw.

Just had a look at my 84mm Golfer and Hiraethus is correct.  The side pictured only slightly shows the screw.

At any rate, just scored another 84mm Tiger Woods for a pretty darn good price and it's coming with a couple more common friends.  I take a lot of chances buying these lots but they usually turn out pretty good and the seller has been super cool working with me on any major issues. :tu:

I'm sure you're right, excuse me, guess I didn't notice the file,  but I was focusing on the scissors... looks flat, no?
