That's why tiny houses are becoming so popular. All built off of a simple trailer chaise, doesn't have to pass code for electrical, water, or building,  just needs brake and signal lights for when in transit.. and so long as it stays under 8'-6" wide and under 13'-6" high, you don't need any special license to move it..

Nope- no special license unless you go really big and get air brakes.  Then you need an air brake endorsement, which I think is a Z license here in Ontario?

This is a small one at about 26 feet- you can get the big ones up to 45 feet long, and you can drive them with a standard license too- again, assuming they don't have air brakes.

Def

Are air brakes like air guitar - you just pretend you're doing it?

That looks like a sweet setup !

Make sure you check the wheel bearings, my brother learned the hard way on his old trailer
It was completely disassambled, cut to size and reassembled so there isn't a square inch that hasn't been checked :D
Thanks for the tip anyway.

This comment was for Grant but you are welcome   ;)

That'll teach me hijacking threads...

Never seen it but looks similar to Ark II... maybe crossed with the A Team! What are the extra wheels for?

The only thing I remember from watching  Ark II as a kid is the vehicle (and that I liked it).

IIRC they pivoted around the hub so good for rock crawling and punctures.  It isn't a cheery film at all, but the truck is pretty cool.  I won't say it's a good idea, but I'm pretty sure the whole film can be found on a certain video hosting site.

Im totally watching that one.  :D

Please don't take this as a personal recommendation.  It's been more than twenty years since I saw it and it could well be utter smurf. :D

I have to admit I quite enjoyed it.  It's not actually particularly exciting, but it does have that slightly groovy 70's vibe.

Ya it reminded me of being a kid watching sci fi.  Imagination was important back then to overcome the limited special effects, but it was still cool.
