Some images are worth it though. The Farmer X image, long thought to be lost forever in the Y2K disaster, is possibly one of the greatest images not only on MTO, but some say, in the whole world.

I've never liked PB pics missing from threads on forums all over.
I had all my MTO linked pics on Flickr, now gone as not my account, still have originals.

I wish there was a setup that we could run that would be mobile friendly and integrate into the forum, and not use the built-in attachment system (it's a nightmare to manage)

We'd happily provide an MTO hosted photo bucket style image hosting (for obvious reasons keep it restricted to MTO platform use or watermarked MTO)

It would have to be a little easier to use than how the gallery is now. It can be a bit buggy at times  :think:

I haven't experienced that (yet). It works a lot better than Photobucket did for me, which was slow and full of ads.

yes, but with mobile support ie you could browse your gallery on your phone/tablet etc and share to...

I did look at options but there isn't a whole lot out there as everyone seems to rely on the existing services rather than self-hosted.

As it stands we have 120k+ attachments on the forum.  :ahhh
