It´s day 13, 5 AM here. Usually, time to get up. But I haven´t slept at all due to a severe toothache, probably an infection, my entire face hurts. The dentist won´t open up shop until 8 AM. I´m trying to not feel the pain, taking too many pain killers and seeking distraction on MTo. It helps, but only a little.

It´s day 13, 5 AM here. Usually, time to get up. But I haven´t slept at all due to a severe toothache, probably an infection, my entire face hurts. The dentist won´t open up shop until 8 AM. I´m trying to not feel the pain, taking too many pain killers and seeking distraction on MTo. It helps, but only a little.

Besides SAKs, I have a small collection of gentleman's folders. This Moki is one of my favorites. This is a 200 piece limited edition with azurite/malachite inlays.

What better way to do Throwback Thursday on the week of US intervention in WW1 anniversary than with a Plum1917 Bolo

This knife doesn't look bad for pushing 100
It was my go to camp knife as a teen but I stopped carrying it yrs ago
Still one of my favorites though
If I had to pick just 1 knife not in my regular edc to bugout with this would be it

Edit: I said this was the week of the anniversery based on a Sky report of the POTUS trip to Paris to honor both that and Bastille Day. However a quick Google shows US declared in April 1917. So what this observance is I'm not sure. Still it has been 100y none the less, so no reason not to honor the past.
