It was my go to camp knife as a teen but I stopped carrying it yrs ago

If I had to pick just 1 knife not in my regular edc to bugout with this would be it

Edit: I said this was the week of the anniversery based on a Sky report of the POTUS trip to Paris to honor both that and Bastille Day. However a quick Google shows US declared in April 1917. So what this observance is I'm not sure. Still it has been 100y none the less, so no reason not to honor the past.

I haven't kept up with The Great War* YouTube channel these last weeks since I don't have that kind of internet right now but since the US didn't have a standing army back in April this might be their first active military participation.

*The channel retells WW1 week by week with each episode 100 years after the actual happening. I only got started on it in November but was able to catch up during a bout of the flu.

Checking up on some of the fishing gear. PST 1.5 helped file out a slot for the largest of the hooks to fit. The PST sheath is attached to the shoulder strap on the fishing bag with a loop of duct tape.

Nothing really, they came with the house. I'm mostly doing spin fishing but hoping to get some use for the really small hooks along a river some day soon.
