Wow! Congrats Chako and Grathr! Thank you to everyone who made this site like home.
1.5 million posts then....?
Just throwing this out there. ATM we're on track to hit 200,000 posts for the second year in a row.
We hit 1 million posts in the year of our 8th Anniversary (anniversary was July, we hit 1 million that December) and we are picking up speed. In less than three years we have added another half million posts. There were deleted threads and posts, mostly by spammers. In the old days we used to get nailed hard by spammers posting pics and links to weird adult sites and they were deleted, plus members to this day (during the edit period) have the ability to delete their posts as well, and that contributes majorly to the deleted post count. For the record, we actually do keep a record of those posts as well, they end up in an Admin section called the Recycle Bin, so we weren't making things up when we said we don't delete posts/threads. DefIs that when Poncho joined? Not quite- Poncho has been a fixture around here for quite a few years. In fact, he registered here in 2008, when MTO wasn't even two years old yet.And I won't make any comments on the fact that he registered on April Fool's Day.... I'll leave you all to draw whatever conclusions you like on that! Def
