The BREAK room seems a good place for me .
on: July 07, 2017, 02:46:58 PM
Well was back down the hospital today,I'm wk5 after fracturing my Ankle, sadly I fractured my Ankle jumping off a 4ft bridge into a shallow stream, landed in a rock and bang  :-[  The problem is worse as I've played and pins in this leg (lower bone)so suffer pain already, well after another X ray I've been told the fracture is actually a break and now twisted but can't be fixed, she also told me that I had a old break near my original break  :-[ that also can't be repaired, plus where my original break was repaired the bone has 're built itself and possibly causing issues with tendons etc  :-[ I've been told that I'll always have problems with this leg and will get worse with age, I'm sighned off for 2 more weeks plus will get physio soon, all in all a nightmare as my job involved alot of walking around plus I walk and cycle everywhere  :-[ Not feeling very hopefull but ill just have to get on with it  :-\ oh smurf

Hopefully it will work out and you will be good as new. Kinda like two wrongs make a right. Or I hope so anyways. Best of luck brother and I hope you heal fast.

Chin up my friend.  While I understand they cannot fix it you can certainly do all you can in physio and who knows what.

Isn't boss held together with tape, glue, and some screws?  Kevs poor back is pretty much duck tapped and maybe a zip tie?

Guess what I'm saying is you'll get thru this my friend.   :salute:

But Pabs, where are we going to find six million dollars from? I could sell Greenwood to Harley, but that still leaves us $5,999,980 short. You got anmy cash?

Plus we're talking 1973 dollars - what is it with inflation?  :ahhh

Don't worry Zed- we'll sort something out.

dks is working on a 'Super Soldier' Mega Robot type deal where chosen members will be spliced together to form a Legion Unit. I don't know if you'll get paid for it, but you'll definitely end up on youtube or some of the more 'niche' sites.  :tu:

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time, Paul.  :-[ It's nearly a year since I started with me health issues, and you do adapt. In time you will learn new ways to accommodate any lasting difficulties. You've been through incapacitating and demoralising times before, and I know you'll bounce back from this one, even if it means you have to do some things differently in future.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery mate
