Mine is called a pocket. An advantage is that it always matches your trousers but a disadvantage is that it varies in what it can hold. this is a fancy two-opening type.

I don't EDC this (yet) but I'm building up the courage to do it. :-[  My wife says it doesn't look that bad... Victorinox leather sheath, fits the Swisschamp really nicely.

I have the black version of it for my swisschamp. They are a great sheath and I carry mine most evenings.

Great GAW!
I've got a few sheaths, but the one I like the most is the one keeping my Charge (and other stuff), and that is a Skinth OG.

You can fit quite a lot of stuff in those skinths, here's my configuration: OG with molle attachment and snap-on buttons

You can see it closed, a look at how it's inside when fully loaded, and all the stuff taken out.
The last picture shows the molle attachments and the buttons.

Cheers,
Danilo

I'll join and do this in layers. Sorry for the bad lighting but it's been overcast for the last few days. Oh, and making still life pictures of gear is perfect for a rainy day.

First layer, on person:
I'm a man of simple tastes, I have nothing on my belt and try to keep my pockets uncluttered (for a certain definition of uncluttered). It's usually a pair of Levi's 501 but this is what I had around.
Keys goes in right front, wallet in right back and phone, not pictured (Samsung A5-16), goes in back left. In left from I carry a Spartan, a lighter (Ronson Varaflame) and a Fisher Bullet. Lastly the watch pocket carries an Executive, a 1884 silver Dollar and any spare change.

Second layer, EDC bag:
The bag is an IKEA Förenkla, it works surprisingly well considering bags aren't really their thing. Canvas with a rubber bottom. Extendable bottle pockets on the side and a padded pocket on the back for a tablet or the like.
The left pocket holds an Olight S2A Baton, a red loop of elastic cord, to hold the Olight to use as a bike light, and two pack straps to hold a jacket or similar to the relatively small bag. The front pocket holds a matching pair of aluminium pen and pencil while the main pocket holds a pack bag (more on that later). The right pocket is my tool pocket holding my Spirit (in a SOG sheath) and a bit set with a Topeak Ratchet Rocket and a 4" adjustable wrench (with a prybar of sorts on the handle).

Third layer, pack bag:
This holds all the small stuff that would otherwise get lost or clutter up the bag. First up the two odd ones, the tin hold a small first aid kit (more on that later) and the cord is 5 meters of Kevlar line with red meter marks, a small carabiner in one end and a monkey's fist with a steel ball in the other. It sees use as everything from clothes line to strapping things to my bike. Apart from that the bag holds a thick plastic bag, some wipes for my glasses, a pack of tissues, earplugs, spare batteries (in a Storacell caddy), a 2 m tape measure, a 4-in-1 blood stopper mini, a lighter and sin zip-ties.

Fourth layer, first aid tin:
So this tin is a tad smaller than an Altoids tin but I find that it fits everything I want. A wound cleaning wipe, around 6 cm of adhesive bandage, a small microfiber cloth to keep the mirror safe, contact lenses, a hair tie, a razor blade, a SD/SD-Micro adapter, a safety pin and a hairpin, SwissCard scissors, Ibuprofen and Paracetamol pills , a tampon and a condom.

I never leave the house or go outside without my Swisstool. As you can see my sheath is showing some wear but not bad at all. I also keep a Victorinox Compact in my pocket. And thanks for the chance on that awesome prize.

My "carry all" is a Pock-Its bag. It's got my multi-tool, Sharpie marker, pencil, Mini Maglite and book of matches. There's room + compartments for more, which I add when there are some useful items that are "job specific." I carried this each day last week while working with a group that fixes homes and builds wheelchair ramps for the elderly and handicapped. It supplemented a regular tool belt.

I might be too late to to the party too. (Late saturday morning here)
But let me say that some of these posted pics are sooo cool.
Example: I never knew about a "Grid It" organiser before.  :o
Some of these carry solutions have given me inspiration for my own.  :salute:

So this thread inspired me to dig out the Victorinox 3 layer pouch I bought along with my first sak, a Hiker.

Two years on, my ideal SAK has changed a lot from that first Hiker. I've acquired just a few more SAKs, and some of them are in a box in a disassembled state.*

I never used the pouch much, because I thought that it was too obvious for daily use, and I forgot about using it on camping trips and such.

I have an Amefa DAK, a Climber, a Rambler, a Swisscard, and my currently-close-to-ideal SAK: a bladeless Woodsman. **

About the bladeless Woodsman mk2... The saw and some other parts from my first SAK(the Hiker) made their way into my bladeless woodsman... So its kind of poetic.  :drink:

So, on topic! After reading this thread, I dug out that pouch. Its a smug fit, but the bladeless woodsman fits inside!
I might finally start using it...

Oh, and I have a soft pouch that I keep in my bag with some stuff inside, along with a FAK and tin with screwdriver bits inside.

*In a disassembled state: Vintage climber small that needs replacement parts, and leftovers from my first Hiker and a doner Explorer.
**Oh, and an old Richards of Sheffield camping multitool in rusty condition. I not mention it because I am very neutral about it and would not care much if it disappeared...   >:D
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Funny how you, me and kirky all have KL74 DAKs. Are they more common or something?

I've only heard about the mythical skynth. They look so sweet. I really would like carrying a knife, multi and light in one sheath. This would be grrrreat!

Here's a sheath I added some gorilla tape to cover the rivets, suggested from a member. To avoid excessive wear on my tool.  :salute:

Nothing comes close to the ingenuity of a Skinth!
It seems to fill a major gap in the market.

Come on folks- another twelve hours or so and we'll have to wrap this one up so we can get onto more 11th Anniversary nonsense!   :pok:

If you don't get in now, you may have to wait until I feel like giving away one of the other two Skinths I have to hand out!   :ahhh
