[GAW] What is the best thing to do when it is raining? Watch TV.

I wanted to a proper puzzle but then came the rain and everything got delayed... Last Saturday we had a storm that brought as much rain than we usually have in a month, streets turned into rivers... Mostly because we live in a valley and more water came down than the ground could swallow. Rivers came down the hills bringing loads of mud. Fortunately, in most places the water was gone as quickly as it came. However, many many houses had a flooded cellar. We got lucky at work, the water stopped centimeters below the server room. At home we were lucky too, we had about 10 cm of water in the cellar, but all of our furniture was destined for the waste anyway. In fact we were so lucky, that now, we did not have to pay for disposal and we even got enough insurance money (insurance pays what the furniture would cost when buying it new) for a week of holiday. Others were less lucky. Worst part were the parking garages, we have no room, so we build them underground. About 500 cars were totaled. Even the whole local police fleet suffered, only two of their nine cars remained. Needless to say, it is a weird picture seeing a waste skip in front of every house. So, after a week of pumping, drying and mud shoveling there is hardly any trace left. Also, the freshwater-net was not affected and the power-grid held stable.

By now you might wonder what does this has to do with TV and a GAW? Easy, in the short prose above I hid a character from a TV show, one specific, obscurely hidden character (you might find others, but I want the specific one).
You think you found it? Add your name to the list like this:
### - your name - Actor/Actrice - Role played - TV show
000 - Etherealicer - Nathan Fillion - Captain Malcolm Reynolds - Firefly
One guess per day... if I feel generous, I will give you hints

Requirement:
- you are 18 years old
- have at least 5 posts (by the end of the GAW).

Price:
A multitool I bet you don't own yet.

Are you going to let us know if someone guesses the secret identity before the contest expires?
My second guess is,

004 - Alan K. - Summer Glau - River Tam - Firefly / Serenity

I thought this would be harder... but we already have a winner and with the very first "guess" :ahhh. Well, we can safely assume it was not a guess, but a stellar combinatory faculty combined with lots of spare time and love for nicely shaped lungs:

Congratz Al (15.24m-trad)

P.S.: for those who don't get it, its the policecars...

This was fun to read and a quick one. Glad you didn't have much damage
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

This was fun.  I saw the number of police cars and that was going to be my first guess too but trad beat me to it.  My next guess was going to be something to do with "Lucky" since it was used so often.

Congratulations 50ft-trad! :salute:

:woohoo: Thanks Beat  :D i did wonder whether that might have been a coincidence, and today's guess was going to be Olivia Wilde as Remy Hadley (Thirteen) in House MD for the less fortunate houses you mentioned.

Apologies for cutting the competition short

Also, Etherealicer, I'm sure you already know that we're all very happy to hear that you made it through the flooding without any significant damages.

Thanks guys for your concern.

The flood was over as quickly as this contest... No-one came to harm, only property damage. And with everybody being insured, we all came out well. Insurance even pays the hours we needed for cleanup.
