I would argue that any blade which has an included angle of 22^o is in dire need of a micro bevel if it's to be a general purpose knife blade. Maybe a fillet knife would be OK with such an acute angle, but cutting anything but the softest materials with such an acute blade angle is going to damage the edge too quickly in my opinion. Wood chisels are typically around 30^o to 35^o for good reason. There's always a balance to be struck between effortless cutting and edge durability, even with modern steels. I always have a micro bevel on my puukko style knives, and have never felt the need to grind the entire flat "Scandi grind" angle, even on knives that have had a lot of hard use. I've never needed to, because the edge on my knives are durable enough because of that additional edge bevel.

Considering all of our experiments, it would be very feasible that the real traditional grind was more of a convex which could support such an acute angle.

I'm going to convex my little modded Mora I did today,the standard scandi is to brittle and little Gaute with its convex edge has worked much better

Well you can work around it. Since Moras have a nice big bevel, you could put a rod in the 25° setting and tilt your Mora so the bevel if flat on the rod. That way you're not hitting 25° but rather 11°. If you're not in a hurry, I can take some pics later using the Sharpmaker to show you what I mean

No, not really in a hurry as I'm just waiting for a good local deal on a Lansky. Any pics will be really helpful! Right now the Mora is just being used to cut fish and nothing more

This is how you'd normally  use a Sharpmaker or a Lansky. The blade is perpendicular to the base and that ensures the correct angle.

However if you tilt the blade and use the wide bevel of the Mora to your benefit, you can sharpen it directly. Hopefully you can see it from the pics
