You are wrong again, I am't done yet, that is right, another GAW!

This N°08 Garden Knife was sent to me by kkokkolis (his personal favorite) as a token of our friendship.
I modded it and used it in kitchen for four months, it is everything kkokkolis says it is.


Now I am passing it on for the next MT.o brother to try out.

To be eligible for the giveaway :
1. Never own an Opinel before.
2. Know how to use a knife.
3. Live in USA
4. Have 9+ posts

The reason for requirement 3 is that the international shipping fee would surpass the price of the knife, not cost effective.

That's a very nice knife people. The blade is similar to the drop point Victorinox made most of us accustomed to, but it is significantly longer. It can be opened with one hand, it locks open and closed, it can be sharpened easily, you can carve or etch the wood easily and you can buy and abuse as many as you want, without any fear.
I don't understand why Opinel markets them as Garden knives. Their shape is for general use and they have nothing to do with Swiss grafting knives. Perhaps the reason is that the traditional Opinel design is the yatagan and they had to find a market segment for this one. For me they are perfect for your steak, office use, whittling, about just everything.
