That's a very nice knife people. The blade is similar to the drop point Victorinox made most of us accustomed to, but it is significantly longer. It can be opened with one hand, it locks open and closed, it can be sharpened easily, you can carve or etch the wood easily and you can buy and abuse as many as you want, without any fear.I don't understand why Opinel markets them as Garden knives. Their shape is for general use and they have nothing to do with Swiss grafting knives. Perhaps the reason is that the traditional Opinel design is the yatagan and they had to find a market segment for this one.
