I'm on the road for day 6. Here is a hotel room pocket dump. I like to keep it simple when I travel while still being prepared. I'm planning to visit a pretty special place tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have a more interesting picture tomorrow. And either tomorrow or Monday I'll change up the knife so it's not the same thing every day.

I stopped into Smokey Mountain Knife Works today! My compact got to have a little family reunion, but he didn't bring any friends home.

I finally have something different for you guys. I got my son and I matching knives on his tenth birthday. This is mine and it's a favorite for sure.

I've got another sentimental piece for day 9. My very first knife was a grey classic. My dad got it for me when I was very young. I lost it several years ago after he passed away so I found a  new in box grey classic.

Day 10 has my most carried classic in my pocket. I love the color pop of the yellow.

No matter what, I always come back to this compact. Maybe I need compacts in several colors for some variation.

I picked up this Great Smoky Mountains National Park classic a few weeks ago. I  have a lot of great memories of my dad associated with knives and the smokies, so I had to have it.

Somehow I missed your post. I'm almost exactly 3.5 hours north in Central Kentucky.

For day 13 I thought you guys might be interested in my old cross pioneer that came to me in very bad shape. I've reground the blade to correct a broken tip. I brought the spine down into a modified sheepsfoot in an effort to preserve as much cutting edge as possible.
