SAK Modding Begginer Kit List
on: July 19, 2017, 10:20:59 PM
After years of trying to acquire a Yeoman, I've decided to make one myself.

That being said, I currently lack the appropriate toolset to crack open a SAK and get to fiddling.

I was wondering if any esteemed forum member may be so kind as to list out the suggested tools for a beginning SAK modder?

See what tools and technique they use. :)
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

A vice with a small anvil is great for SAK modding, but if you don't have one, a large hammer clamped to a table works for peening brass pins, For the actual peening, you need a ball peen hammer, as well as  a metal file and side or flush cutters for trimming the pin stock. a thin, sturdy knife works wonders for prying scales off celidor SAKs.
